A Learning Plan Built Around Your Child
Upon admission to Hive Montessori, each child is assessed for individual educational needs so that a custom learning plan (IEP) may be put into place. The curriculum is designed around each child’s strengths and gaps rather than chronological age, with progress measured by the completion of individual goals — not the general expectation of an age group.
Every concept is introduced to the child in a set order, through demonstration and minimal speech. Children learn to wait their turn, master one step at a time, and progress from simple to complex, concrete to abstract — learning by doing rather than by being told.
